Blogger Book Nook #10 // Summer Holiday Romance

Can you believe that there have been a total of 10 Reading Challenge from the Blogger Book Nook! It felt like yesterday that I joined the club and now here we are. I don’t think I’ve missed uploading a post but unfortunately, a few don’t feature book reviews as life has got in the way.

This month’s Reading Challenge is Summer Holiday Romance! Now that the weather is starting to warm up, Abbey & Tabitha thought it would be fun to celebrate that classic romance read you read whilst away on holiday. There’s nothing better by the poolside than a little bit of romance, pick up a cocktail in one hand, and a light and fluffy romantic novel in the other!

We receive our monthly Reading Challenge from either Abbey or Tabitha, two of the kindest girls, on the Facebook page. Here we have some great conversations and are able to talk books! This is also the perfect opportunity to get to know new bloggers, ones that have a similar interest, books and reading.

Right, let’s get on with June’s Reading Challenge.

Blogger Book Nook #9 // Time Machine

I swear 2018 is going really quick, like can you believe it’s already May. This month is going to be a busy and hopefully fun one, I’m going to be creating some great memories this month with Yasmine. A new month means there’s a new Reading Challenge created by the Blogger Book Nook. This month’s Reading Challenge is a little different and something special.

May is the birthday month for both Tabitha and Abbey, Happy Birthday to the both of you! Meaning they wanted to pick their favourite genre Historical Fiction. Hop in your time machine and pick a read that’s set in the past – whether it’s as early as the 90’s or if you go back thousands of years, the choice is yours! I’m excited to indulge in a book of this genre, as it’s definitely an interesting genre.

May 2018 – Get Caught Reading Month

It only feels like yesterday that it was January, now we’re starting May. Spring is definitely here and hopefully, it will stick around for a little while. I’m really enjoying sharing with you different National Day/Month, you get to learn something new and exciting. May marks Get Caught Reading Month, a nationwide campaign to promote the fun of reading books for all ages.

The campaign was launched in 1999 by the Association of American Publishers and now managed by Every Child a Reader with support from the Lois Lenski Covey Foundation. To celebrate Get Caught Reading Month is really easy you just need to dig your nose into a book and forget about the concerns of other peoples’ opinions. Get Caught Reading Month is a great chance to meet other bibliophiles as well!

Book Review // The Curse of Time

It’s that time of the month again, I’m excited to be sharing with you today my thoughts on The Curse of Time by Marjorie Mallon! Unfortunately, there was no suitable book tour during March, so I had to skip that month, but I did share my thoughts on Suicide Squad thanks to March’s Reading Challenge from Blogger Book Nook. I’m trying my hardest to read at least one book each month, to reach my Goodreads Reading Challenge.

This blog book tour is hosted by Jenny Marston, over at Neverland Blog Tours, I have found some new loves since participating in book tours. I don’t think this is going to end with myself really enjoying this month’s book. I am the fifth stop on The Curse of Time Blog Tour hosted by Jenny, I am also sharing today with Whispering Stories so please check out her blog to read what she thought.

Monthly Goals // April 2018

Today is the day where I reflect on my March Goals and then setting some new Goals for the upcoming month. I love writing my Goals down as it is the perfect way of making sure I achieve things in the month. March has been an amazing month! You can check out what I’ve been up to with my March Favourites, where I show you what I’ve been doing, as well as products I’ve been loving.

This year seems to be going fast at the moment, can you really believe that it’s April, I don’t know where the time is going! Something that also proves that time is going quick, is that next week marks six months since I started with 4CM, which is something I can not believe! I love setting Goals each month as it keeps me motivated to achieve my year Goals. It keeps you going and you’ll know if you’re on target.

Before I set myself some new Goals for April, let’s reflect on my March Goals!
