My Favourite Moments Since Becoming a Blogger

As the day, month and year go by, we are creating memories and moments, I’m such a big advocate of creating moments to remember. It has become easier to create memories thanks to the digital change, I remember growing up and having to wait weeks until you could view the images you snapped. Now all smartphones are cable of showing the image instantly.

Today, I thought I would do a special post, I have been blogging since October 2013, meaning this year I will be celebrating six years of An Ocean Glimmer. I thought I would go back through the archive of An Ocean Glimmer and share with you a couple of my favourite moments since becoming a blogger. Now grab yourself a cuppa and a couple of snacks, this is going to be a long one!

2019 Blogging Goals

Last month, I shared my 2019 Personal Goals, it’s now time for my 2019 Blogging Goals. A range of Goals that I would love to achieve of the course of 2019 with my blog and social media platforms. Each month, my Monthly Goals will reflect my overall Goals, recently I’ve been pushing myself on Instagram and Twitter just to reach these Goals. While incorporating them monthly to my Goals.

2018 was a good year for An Ocean Glimmer, I reached 15k all-time views, I was close to reaching 1k Instagram followers, was a couple of days out and reached it in January. I have found some amazing people in the blogging community and attended my first blogger event with The Body Shop. Onwards and upwards in 2019, it’s going to be a good year for An Ocean Glimmer.

12 Days of Blogmas #3 // December Goals

I’m really happy for December to be here as it’s finally Christmas! I’m sure some people are sick of Christmas already with shops having decorations up since September but I always start from the first of December. I have a couple of exciting things coming up but primarily I cannot wait to travel back home to Plymouth. It’s going to be strange not celebrating Christmas with my family.

Today I am going to be reflecting on the Goals I set myself at the beginning of November. I love reflecting and creating new Goals each month, there’s something about it that makes me more determined to achieve them. With Christmas around the corner, I’m excited for the upcoming month. Also, a few of my Goals for December are blogging based.

Monthly Goals // November 2018

I’m really happy for November to be here as there are so many great things planned, I’m not as busy as October but it’s still going to be a cracking month. It’s going to be excited over the coming weeks as there are a couple of things lined up. For starters, November is my birthday month, with a fun action packed weekend and I will be at Silverstone for a murder mystery.

I have been able to achieve most of my Goals I set at the beginning of October I have proved that if I put my mind to it, I can achieve. Here we are again to first reflect on my previous Goals and then set some new ones for November. I visited Castle Combe with my MG Rover family, picked a pumpkin for the first time and wandered around Milton Keynes.

Monthly Goals // October 2018

Goodbye September! Hello October!

I’m really happy for October to be here as there are so many great things planned, I am pretty much busy each weekend. I thought October would start to slow down, oh how was I wrong. Autumn is here and it’s time to start getting festive, both for Halloween, my Birthday next month and finally, yes Christmas. I’ve had a really good September and have definitely felt good about myself.

Despite being really busy, thankfully I have been able to achieve quite a lot of my Goals. I have proved that if I put my mind to it, I can achieve, I have pushed myself and have been rewarded. I attended my last event at Silverstone this season as a Race Maker, visited Western Super Mare with my MG Rover family and work has been hectic as anything. I have shared my adventures in my Monthly Favourites // Septemer 2018 here.

How I Juggle Blogging Whilst Working Full-Time

I have been blogging on and off for nearly two years, in this time I like to think I have learnt just a little when it comes to blogging but also how to juggle this while working. It’s not been until joining 4CM that you realise how much time blogging can take up, while in university, I could work around that but also had time on the weekend.

Now it’s only the weekend I designate my time to blog. Don’t get me wrong, it doesn’t come without its problems, but thanks to being quite organised, I’m able to do it! It can get even harder when I’m away at Silverstone or just super busy travelling. I thought today I would share how I manage this and hopefully if you’re struggling to give you some handy tips.

LUSH Christmas Haul

For Blogmas 2017, I did a first impression post for LUSH Cosmetics, now I know what you are thinking! Gemma, you have only just tried LUSH!? Well, before moving to Aylesbury, I had no bath only a shower, but now I am lucky enough to be able to have a bath every weekend. I won’t explain too much here as you can read all about why in my impression post. Myself and Yasmine have now become addicted to LUSH bath bombs!

As you know, I went down to Plymouth with Yasmine to see in the New Year with her family and our friends. Meaning we couldn’t come back to Aylesbury without some LUSH treats. I was able to take advantage of their January sale, where they had their Christmas products on 50% off! Great right! Everyone went a bit crazy for this sale, I don’t really blame them as you’re saving yourself a lot.

I know it’s a little late now for a LUSH Christmas Haul, but seeing as I didn’t actually buy them until AFTER Christmas, I’ve only just finished using them! Now, shall we get started with this small LUSH Haul?
