Blogger Book Nook #11 // Fantasy

Here we are again, another month, another Reading Challenge from the Blogger Book Nook! I love this time of the month as it’s exciting to take part and most of the time, introduce yourself to a new genre or even book. I’m thankful for the Reading Challenge being different each month to find something new each month.

This month’s Reading Challenge is Fantasy!

We receive our monthly Reading Challenge from either Abbey or Tabitha, two of the kindest girls, on the Facebook page. Here we have some great conversations and are able to talk books! This is also the perfect opportunity to get to know new bloggers, ones that have a similar interest, books and reading.

Right, let’s get on with July’s Reading Challenge.

Monthly Goals // June 2018

Can you believe that it’s already the first week of June? Time seems to be going very quickly at the moment, I even keep forgetting what day it is! I think that’s what happens when you keep yourself busy, I don’t know about you but I love keeping myself busy and during the Summer you’re busy every single weekend. Another thing that comes with a new month is setting yourself some new Goals or you can even continue your old ones if you’ve yet to achieve them!

Today I will be reflecting on the Goals I set myself for May and creating some new ones for June. I always try to set Goals that reflect on what I plan to do during the month as well as little Goals to achieve bigger Goals. Some things you want to achieve in life don’t happen overnight! May has definitely been a great month and things are starting to pick up, there’s been a range of things I have loved over the course of the month. You can learn about all of those here.

Blogger Book Nook #9 // Time Machine

I swear 2018 is going really quick, like can you believe it’s already May. This month is going to be a busy and hopefully fun one, I’m going to be creating some great memories this month with Yasmine. A new month means there’s a new Reading Challenge created by the Blogger Book Nook. This month’s Reading Challenge is a little different and something special.

May is the birthday month for both Tabitha and Abbey, Happy Birthday to the both of you! Meaning they wanted to pick their favourite genre Historical Fiction. Hop in your time machine and pick a read that’s set in the past – whether it’s as early as the 90’s or if you go back thousands of years, the choice is yours! I’m excited to indulge in a book of this genre, as it’s definitely an interesting genre.

We receive our monthly Reading Challenge from either Abbey or Tabitha, two of the kindest girls, on the Facebook page. Here we have some great conversations and are able to talk books! This is also the perfect opportunity to get to know new bloggers, ones that have a similar interest, books and reading.

Monthly Goals // May 2018

With a new month here, it means it’s time to set some new Goals for the upcoming month. I love writing down my Goals each month as it really helps me to stay on target for my 2018 Personal and Blogging Goals. I’ve had a lovely April, you can find out what I’ve been loving here with my April Favourites. Here, I share with you what I’ve been up to as well as products I’ve been loving.

For today’s post though, it’s all about my Monthly Goals! I’ve had a really strong month, I have achieved a lot of different things, but are they the same as what I set out to achieve at the beginning of April. It’s good to also reflect on your previous Goals, this helps to see if you’ve been on target throughout the month and gives you an indication of where you need to go for the next month.

Before I set myself some new Goals for May, let’s reflect on my April Goals!

March 2017 – World Book Day

When I was in primary school, I could remember all the national days, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Easter, them all, only because school reminded me when they were around the corner. One day that I used to always love was World Book Day because it was packed with fun activities and of course we were allowed to dress up as our favourite book character!

I thought I would take a little trip down memory lane and speak all about this celebration of authors, books, illustrators and of course reading! Tomorrow, Thursday 2 March marks the twentieth celebration of this day. I actually thought it was older than this, I never realised it was something that I had grown up with as I’m twenty-two this year.
