What I Received for Christmas 2019

I’m really excited to share with you today, what I received for Christmas, now I don’t want this to be a ‘show off’ post. I want it to be a reflection of my Christmas and thankful for what I received. I hope you all had a lovely Christmas! Mine was lovely, I spent Christmas Eve with my Grandparents, Christmas Day with my parents and then Boxing Day with Yasmine and my Uncle.

I don’t want to go into too much detail here as I spoke about Christmas in my December Favourites. Check that post out here!

12 Days of Blogmas // Merry Christmas!

Can you believe what day it is today, that’s right, it’s Christmas Day! I hope you have all had a lovely day, opened all your presents and stuffed your face with amazing Christmas food. Don’t worry, I’m not writing this post on Christmas Day! It’s pre-written and scheduled because I need to spend the day with my family. I thought I would write this post as a reflection of December and 12 Days of Blogmas.

I would like to just say a massive thank you to everyone who has supported me by reading my blog throughout December. I hope to continue creating great content for you all! I am always so thankful to all of those who continually read An Ocean Glimmer as well as those who are new if that’s you, why hello there! Without you, I doubt I would have ever continued.

12 Days of Blogmas #6 // Christmas Spirit

I hope December is treating you well. For today’s post I wanted to talk about Christmas Spirit, those two words mean a lot to different people, I wanted to share what they mean to me. I don’t get into the spirit until 1st December, this might be shocking to a few. How can someone choose when to get into the spirit? I hear you ask. I have always had this rule, the decorations do not appear until on or after 1st December.

With a birthday at the end of November, I like to have a bit of breathing space after celebrating and enjoying to then get excited for Christmas. I know some people who start a week before December, shops are even selling cards and decorations as early as October! I much prefer to have 24 days of extreme Christmas spirit than have nearly a month and a half of watered down Christmas spirit.

Blogmas Christmas Day // Merry Christmas!

Don’t worry, I’m not writing this post on Christmas Day! It’s pre-written and scheduled because I need to spend the day with my family. I thought I would write this post as a reflection of December and Blogmas.

I’m actually really proud of myself for completing Blogmas! It wasn’t easy, having a full-time job and trying to have fun and relaxed weekends did make it hard. I have put in a lot of work and I am really proud of what I’ve achieved. I would like to just say a massive thank you to everyone who has supported me by reading my blog throughout December. I hope to continue creating great content for you all!

Blogmas Day 20 // The Christmas “Would You Rather?” Tag

If you haven’t already noticed, I love tags, especially those that I’ve been tagged in by another blogger. I’ve really been struggling to plan and write content for Blogmas 2017, I hope you are all enjoying my posts and I can not believe there are only four more days left. Today’s post wasn’t actually planned until a couple of days ago after I was tagged by the lovely Hannah from What Hannah Wrote in the Christmas “Would You Rather?” Tag.

Check out her post here to see how she answered her questions. Shall we get started?
