What I Received for Christmas 2019

I’m really excited to share with you today, what I received for Christmas, now I don’t want this to be a ‘show off’ post. I want it to be a reflection of my Christmas and thankful for what I received. I hope you all had a lovely Christmas! Mine was lovely, I spent Christmas Eve with my Grandparents, Christmas Day with my parents and then Boxing Day with Yasmine and my Uncle.

Goodbye December! Hello January!

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas. Can you believe January is here? I still cannot believe where 2019 went. I wish you all the best for 2020. I have everything crossed for a great start to the year. I don’t have so much planned, but it’s nice to have a quiet one once in a while! It’s time to reflect on the previous month, I love doing this by sharing my Monthly Favourites with you!

12 Days of Blogmas #6 // Christmas Spirit

I hope December is treating you well. For today’s post I wanted to talk about Christmas Spirit, those two words mean a lot to different people, I wanted to share what they mean to me. I don’t get into the spirit until 1st December, this might be shocking to a few. How can someone choose when to get into the spirit? I hear you ask. I have always had this rule, the decorations do not appear until on or after 1st December.

With a birthday at the end of November, I like to have a bit of breathing space after celebrating and enjoying to then get excited for Christmas. I know some people who start a week before December, shops are even selling cards and decorations as early as October! I much prefer to have 24 days of extreme Christmas spirit than have nearly a month and a half of watered down Christmas spirit.

Welcome back everyone! You might have noticed that things have been a little quiet here, as I’ve been on a mini blogger break, this has been a perfect opportunity to enjoy some time with the family. I hope you have all had a lovely Christmas and a Happy New Year. I don’t know about you, but I’ve definitely eaten a lot of food and been spoilt by my friends and family.

It is officially CHRISTMAS EVE. I hope you have had a wonderful day and are ready for Christmas tomorrow! It does mean though that this is my last post of Blogmas, I know a sad moment! Candles are such a must for Autumn/Winter, there’s nothing better than a candle illuminating the room. I love them to be in a position where you can see the light flickering, it brings some warmth to the room, even when it’s freezing outside. Last year for Blogmas, I shared my favourite Scentsy Wax Melts, this year I wanted to share my candle collection.
