The Coffee Book Tag

It’s no surprise that I love a good tag! I have done plenty over the years of being a blogger. They’re always something I have a passion for. Unfortunately, it has been a little while since I have done one and if I’m honest, I have missed doing them. There’s not been one that has jumped out to me, until now of course! I found this tag over at The Wordy Habitat and it’s called Coffee Book Tag – two of my favourite things!

I’m definitely a coffee girl, I know my Instagram doesn’t show it at the moment, being in the lockdown and all but I used to spend quite a lot of my time at Starbucks. Also, there’s nothing better than grabbing a book and escaping from the world around you for a couple of hours. The Coffee Book Tag was really fun to answer; let me know what your answers would be down in the comments!

What I Received for Christmas 2019

I’m really excited to share with you today, what I received for Christmas, now I don’t want this to be a ‘show off’ post. I want it to be a reflection of my Christmas and thankful for what I received. I hope you all had a lovely Christmas! Mine was lovely, I spent Christmas Eve with my Grandparents, Christmas Day with my parents and then Boxing Day with Yasmine and my Uncle.

I don’t want to go into too much detail here as I spoke about Christmas in my December Favourites. Check that post out here!

Goodbye 2019, Hello 2020!

Not only is it a New Year but it’s also a new decade! I hope you had a lovely start to January, it’s one of my favourite months of the year as it’s perfect for reviewing what happened and how you can improve. Also, it’s really quiet! I love this as I can wind down before the excitement of the Summer which is one of the fast pace times of the year. Also, I’m able to catch up on my blogging game!

Before we move forward to 2020, I thought it would be good to look back on 2019 and review my favourite moments. I know I shared my Monthly Favourites, well most months, so really it’s just one big summary of all those months. I would be here forever if I shared EVERYTHING. So I’ll only be sharing one or two special moments from the month. Some months this was hard as soo much happened!

Christmas Collections from The Body Shop

Christmas is a magical time. I love the scents that the festive season brings with it, there’s Winter Spice, Gingerbread, Cinnamon and more. I love when stores match their collections to the festive season, it makes this time of year even more special. One place that’s killing it this year, I’m sure you can tell by the title, is The Body Shop. I am a bigger lover of The Body Shop, especially their seasonal scents.

They killed it with their Autumnal range, they released Vanilla Pumpkin which was amazing! One of the best scents they’ve released. It’s so good I’ve even reviewed Vanilla Pumpkin twice! For as long as I can remember, The Body Shop has released three different Christmas scents. Last year, they released Berry Bon Bon, Peppermint Candy Cane and Vanilla Marshmallow, some amazing scents.

Christmas with LUSH

‘Oh, the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful’

Hello, world! I know, I’ve gone awol, again…

But I’m back and hoping to get back into the swing of things. I have missed blogging but as I’ve been super busy with work and getting ready for Christmas, things have dropped off a cliff. Good news though, I have plenty of new content to share with you. And with two whole weeks off work, with not a lot planned, I’m going to be on a writing spree. The first post to share with you is one of my favourites.

Since coming across LUSH, I have fallen in love with their products but with quite an expensive price tag, I can’t purchase everything. I like to treat myself once in a while and what’s better than with a bright and colourful bath bomb to transform you into a different world. I normally purchase their seasonal items, whether that’s Halloween or Christmas, and their beautiful gift sets.
