Just over a month ago, I upgraded my phone from a Samsung Galaxy S7 to their latest model the S9, of course, this meant I needed a new case to protect my phone! I am a massive sucker for great and reasonable priced phone cases, it can be quite hard to find one that matches my style. There are so many on the market, how do you choose between them all?

Want to include a family favourite photo? How about a cute image of your pet? Even something simple like a fancy print with your initials. Altruist Dermatologist Sunscreen

Can you believe the weather we’ve had recently!? Finally, Spring has come to the UK. It seems like we’ve been waiting forever for it to warm up, it wasn’t that long ago that the UK was six feet under snow and we grounded to a halt. Now with this mini heatwave, everyone has been enjoying themselves out in the sun. Whilst it’s nice to be outdoors, enjoying the weather, it’s important to stay protected from the harmful UV rays which can cause skin cancer.

There are a lot of different sunscreens to chose from and this can make it confusing, to help you understand the best sunscreen for your skin, there are different guides out there. Especially as they aren’t all created equally and some have better protection than others. With having fair skin, I am always using sunscreen as I’m more sensitive to the sun and I’ve learnt the hard way in the past. Having sunburn can be really painful and increases the risk of skin cancer.

Buying a Second-Hand Car? Here are some top tips!

I can speak from experience as the first car I purchased, a Peugeot 106, failed its first MOT with myself. The cost to get the work done to get it road legal was more than the car was worth! Here, I learnt the hard way of buying second-hand, from now on there are some handy tips that I will be sticking with every time I think about purchasing a second-hand car.

I thought I would share those with you today!

Treat Your Mum to a bakerdays Letterbox Cake

I hope you all had a lovely weekend and didn’t forget what yesterday was! Yes, that’s right, I’m talking about Mother’s Day, we all try our hardest to make this day special for that Mum figure in our lives. From taking them out to afternoon tea or an evening meal, or even something as simple as flowers and chocolates. Our Mum’s deserve a special day, I surprised my Mum with a Letterbox Cake from bakerdays.

This is actually the first Mother’s Day that I’ve not been with my Mum, I was still able to celebrate it with her as she came down from Nuneaton, along with my Dad and sisters. We didn’t do much to celebrate, I gave her a collection of presents as well as her card, she’s also received some gorgeous flowers! She was absolutely over the moon with the Letterbox Cake as well, asking me twenty questions about the company behind it.

Target Dark Circles with eyewake

Today’s post is sponsored by eyewake, as they kindly gifted me their Unique Formula Collagen Gel in return for an honest review. My eyes are one area that I neglect, as I have no product in my morning and evening routine that specifically targets that area. If I’m honest, I’ve never really had problems under my eyes, that’s why I’ve never thought to purchase something for under my eyes.

With this Collagen Gel though, even if you don’t have dark circles or puffy skin, it will help to prevent unattractive wrinkles. I was happy with everything I read about eyewake, so I thought why not try this for myself to see if it does what it says it will. I was able to go through the ordering process myself, I was reimbursed the cost of eyewake by Lucy.

Keeping Memories with Printiki

I am a massive lover of taking photographs, it’s the perfect way to document your life, without it I think I would be lost as it’s lovely having photos to look back on the variety of things you’ve done. Unfortunately, we’re in a world now where I would say printed photos are started to die out, with our phones able to take photos, we are able to store them online. With this though, you always run the risk of losing these images.

I am not a massive fan of having a variety of frames dotted around with images, I prefer having single images stuck on my wall. In my old bedroom, I did have a mosaic of various images, but with moving I had to take all these down. Since moving to Aylesbury, I haven’t been able to decorate my room with photos, I just haven’t had the time to come up with something creative.
