Well, another day and another day of being stuck at home, yes I am enjoying it as I’m being super productive but of course, it comes with its negatives. There is so much we’ve all had to cancel, it’s all been for a good reason but doesn’t mean we don’t dislike it. Having plans and something to look forward to keeps us happy but when we don’t know what the next day will bring, it can be a little worrying.
There’s not a lot we can really do at the moment, apart from following the government guidance and trying our best to keep the days busy. As mentioned in ways to keep busy during the lockdown, I’m actually quite lucky as I am still working from home. From Monday to Friday, I’m keeping myself busy, it’s then just the weekend I have to figure out what I want to do.
We’re all in the same boat – one way to help get through this is by having positive things to look forward to. Here’s my list of things I want to do when all of this is over:
Something that is good to do once in a while is think about the things that make you happy, it’s good to appreciate the things and people that are around you. I swear there isn’t enough self-love and thinking about the things around you, sometimes you don’t realise how much you love something until it’s gone.
Today I thought it would be nice to share what makes me happy, there’s a variety of things that if I didn’t have or were gone from my life, I would definitely miss!

Welcome back everyone! You might have noticed that things have been a little quiet here, as I’ve been on a mini blogger break, this has been a perfect opportunity to enjoy some time with the family. I hope you have all had a lovely Christmas and a Happy New Year. I don’t know about you, but I’ve definitely eaten a lot of food and been spoilt by my friends and family.
To start the New Year, I thought I would share with you my December Favourites.

Do you find it hard to find gifts for your partner? Or even your Dad? Brother? Men say that us women are hard to buy for because we ‘never know what we want’ but I reckon men are just as hard to shop for! With Christmas just around the corner, now is the perfect time to start your shopping to find those unique gifts to give to your loved ones. We are on a search to buy them a gift like no other before, this is where Uncommon Goods come in.
Here we are, another month has gone passed, meaning a whole new list of favourites! I am really excited to share with you what I’ve been loving during August, as you all know I recently moved to Aylesbury and this month marked one whole month here. I have settled in really well and things are looking up for both me and Peter. I can not believe how quickly this year is going, it feels like yesterday that I was getting myself ready to move.

I’ve always been very open about where I live, I’m sure if you’ve followed An Ocean Glimmer for a while, you’ll know EVERYTHING about Plymouth. There’s just soo much to show you and there’s always something new going on, which I love showing you guys. The scenery was something else, you’ll know this if you read my National Camera Day post. This is why I wanted to introduce you to where I’m living now, a small town called Aylesbury near London.
I don’t want to ramble too much here over why I moved, so you should definitely check out my previous post which explains all. But for now, let’s talk about Aylesbury, I’m currently living with my Uncle and Nan in their three bedroom house, along with the partner. It’s not 100% at the moment because my space doesn’t represent me! But I’ve only been living here just over a month, these things take time.
