July 2018 // Paperback Book Day

For as long as I can remember, I have always been reading. I love it and it’s such a great way to escape for a couple of hours. Sometimes you can have a good amount of free time to read a couple of chapters but unfortunately, not all the time. I know there are now eBook versions of your favourite books to read on your phone / tablet but there’s nothing better than having the paperback in your hands.

Today is Paperback Book Day, a good day to celebrate all paperback books whether it’s heading to your favourite bookshop or looking over your collection to recall those quiet days spent reading a book.

Brighter Skin in 4 Weeks With Fade Out

There are so many products on the market to include in your morning / evening routine, that it’s hard to understand which product to use. With so many different companies all telling you that their product will reduce problems we women love to hate. For as long as I can remember, I have always had problems with my skin, leading to me going on the search for the best skincare products.

In mid-June, I signed up for the 4 Week Challenge with Fade Out, the journey towards skin confidence. I was a little unsure at first about the Challenge as with sensitive skin, I have to be very careful about the type of products I use. I’m glad I was able to choose the correct products for my skin type and no sooner than signing up, I had received my products.

Now here I am one month later and the 4 Week Challenge is complete! I thought I would share my thoughts and feelings with you about these products. Has my skin become brighter? Do I agree with what they’re promising? Please keep reading!

Reduce Bingo Wings with skin689®

I’m always learning something new about my body and the types of products to use, I was recently contacted by Word of Mouth Communication to try one of their client’s new products. It’s a product that I have never thought to try until now after researching the brand and product.

The product I’m speaking about is Firm Skin Upper Arms from skin689®, an emulsion especially designed for the skin of the upper arms that catalyzes energy metabolism and breakdown of fatty acids.

I’ve been trying it for a couple of weeks now and thought it would be the perfect time to introduce you to skin689® and their products. Before getting to my review of their Firm Skin Upper Arms, I thought I would speak about skin689®, a brand from Switzerland.

Monthly Goals // July 2018

We’re already halfway through the year, which means it’s less than six months until Christmas! Can you believe it? I love writing these Monthly Goals as it helps me to be on target for my Personal and Blogging Goals. I feel without them I would forget and go off track, there’s nothing worse than getting to the end of the year and not achieving the Goals you set out at the beginning.

Today I will be reflecting on the Goals I set myself for June and creating some new ones for July. June has definitely been a great month and things have been just a little busy with a couple of car shows and visiting Plymouth. I swear I have not stopped and it’s gone so quick to think it’s now July. You can learn all about what I’ve been loving throughout June here.

Before I set myself some new Goals for July, let’s reflect on my June Goals!

June has always been a great month, it’s that time of year when your feet don’t seem to touch the floor there always seems to be something going on. Looking back, every weekend I have been out and about, which is a great problem to have, especially after so long of not being able to do anything.

I’m really excited to share my Favourites with you but with the power of social media, I’m sure you’ve already seen most of what I’m going to share with you.

Keeping Organised as a Blogger

One very important life skill is knowing how to keep yourself organised, if you lack organisation, you’ll easily become overwhelmed and your work could start suffering. This skill is one of the most important things to blogging, whether you’re a new or aspiring blogger, keeping yourself organised can help you to keep track of everything. According to a lot of people that know me, I’m very organised!

I’m always being told I’m an organised person and they would kill to be organised themselves, I also get asked how I do it. I have always done this and found the correct ways to allow myself to be organised, I truly think without being organised I would be lost and wouldn’t know where to start and probably would forget things.

Since January, I have been at least four posts ahead of schedule, meaning over the weekend – when I have free time and I’m not working – I don’t have to blog because the posts have been written, photos taken and everything is scheduled! I love doing this as at the moment, my weekends are just a little busy, now this means I can have fun and don’t have to worry about An Ocean Glimmer.
