There is that one thing that we all need that makes us less miserable! That would be sleep, I know if I don’t have a good nights sleep, you don’t want to mess with me in the morning. For me, I do find it hard to get to sleep, so there are a couple of things I do to help me wind down and relax for the evening.
At the moment I am pretty stressed with the move, so I thought now would be a great opportunity to share with you my Bedtime Beauty Routine! The easiest way I felt to share with you my routine, would be to go through step by step my evening. Let’s begin with;
As you’ll know, along with being a Beauty and Lifestyle Blogger, there is another side to me, I am a massive Geek at heart! I love everything from Vampire Diaries to Harry Potter and many great games. Recently I came across a tag on ZombieGoddess Beauty called The Geeky Girl Tag, I was in love with it and knew I needed to do it for myself, especially as I don’t normally speak about my geek side.
You’ll all know the I’ve just finished my third year of university, but not before I created a 32-page magazine. Overall this is what I’ve loved the most during my time at the University of St Mark & St John, as I’ve created a lot of work that can be added to my portfolio. Rather than everything being coursework, we make actual things, including Radio and Film packages which I can show to future employers.
For my last module, I created a 32-page magazine with Corinne Bygrave from Organic By Nerve and another fellow Marjon student, Hannah Perks. We decided to create something very similar to Sound, the magazine we produced last semester, we had such a great time exploring Plymouth for the production of this magazine, that we felt it was fitting to create our own.
Inspired by the Japanese assault course game show, Ninja Warrior, Adrenalin Urban Activity Centre opened its doors in Plymouth three months ago. Adrenalin is not just about conquering the fearsome but fun assault course, you are able to bounce as much as you like on the trampolines, test your climbing skills and try your hand at free running.
Corinne from Organic By Nerve and I popped along to check it out for ourselves and to see how much fun we could have in the space of an hour. We were both a little nervous at first, as we had never been before and didn’t know what to expect. The staff were friendly and helpful, with them easing you into the experience, especially if you’ve never been before.

Is it just me or is 2017 going really quickly!? It’s now June which means another Favourites, let’s see what I’ve been loving during May. When I came home from Italy, the partner and myself saw Fast and Furious 8. I have loved this movie series since he introduced it to me. I love everything it stands for, family and the cars. I will admit, I cried a lot!!
I loved the direction they’ve taken this film in, it’s a lot more about family than the cars. I felt really sorry for Dominic, as he didn’t know what way to turn, in the end it worked out well for everyone. I love the return of Deckard and Owen Shaw, Jason Statham, like yees, I love him. All I’m going to say is you just have to watch this, so I’m not going to give away too much.
Good news guys, I am back! I’m sorry for not being around the whole of May, there’s been a lot going on in my life. If you follow me on either Twitter or Instagram, you’ll know that I’ve officially finished university! Woop, woop! This is another reason for not blogging, but I am pleased to say, there will be one post at least once a week.
You may be lucky and have two, all depending on if I’ve got good content to produce for you. Another big milestone in my life currently is the big move! Now, my Dad has officially left the Royal Navy, which means as a family we have to move as we live in a Navy property. Meaning, we are moving five hours up the road! I live in Plymouth, a city in the South West, my family all live in the Midlands.
As most of you will know, I am a massive stationery fan! I have so much that I am never at a lost for notebooks, or anything stationery related for that matter. Recently I found out that today, Wednesday 26 April 2017 is World Stationery Day, I swear there is a National Day for anything and everything now a days. I jumped at the chances of celebrating this day as I am a stationery addict.
I am sure you are all thinking what exactly is World Stationery Day, what is the point of this celebration? Well, after some careful research on their website, I have learnt a lot about the day. It is a day of celebration for the written word and all things stationery. Their aim, to get people all over the world talking and writing about stationery as well as speaking about why writing by hand is important.
Recently I’ve become addicted to browsing around The Body Shop and looking at all their different products, they have soo much on offer for different people with all kinds of skin conditions. It’s stretched so far that even the partner has fallen in love with their Body Butter and is always smelling of a different fruit!
I thought I would share with you today why exactly I love The Body Shop, so without further ado let’s begin.
On Wednesday evening, I had the amazing opportunity to watch The Star Seekers presented by Wardrobe Ensemble at the Theatre Royal Plymouth. This opportunity was made possible because I am on the Bloggers Scheme at the Theatre, if you don’t know what this scheme is about, read my short announcement for it here.
I was pretty excited for this performance and I am pleased to say I was not disappointed. Even though this performance is aimed at children, I absolutely loved it! You meet Alph (Ben), Betty (Jessie) and Gammo (Jack) three astronauts, who are sent on a mission by Doctor Doctor. They must find the three missing orbs to fix the Infinite Energy Fusion Drive.
