March 2018 – National Fragrance Day

Today marks National Fragrance Day, I adore fragrances and sweet smelling things, as you could probably tell by my couple of fragrance reviews, including Monsoon Rose Gold and Accessorize Love Lily. To celebrate, I wanted to review a couple of fragrances that I’ve been dying to try recently.

First though, what exactly is National Fragrance Day?

It’s as simple as celebrating your favourite scent if you’re a lover of fragrances you can celebrate just by choosing a new fragrance but you could even take a trip to the florist if you enjoy the scent of flowers or how about baking a cake if you like that sweet smell. Whatever is enjoyable for your noses, do it, our nose knows best.

Monsoon Rose Gold Review

At the moment, I am really enjoying finding new fragrances, I’ve come across a lot of different ones as you’ll know from my reviews of Firedance and Love Lily. Today I’m going to share with you my thoughts on the new fragrance from Monsoon, Rose Gold. This is the first time I’ve tried a Monsoon fragrance, so I am very excited, I love the strong presence of Rose Gold. From the name to outer packaging and the bottle, it is covered in Rose Gold, which I absolutely adore! And not just because I am a blogger.

From the first time, my eyes were laid on this fragrance, I was in love! It’s such a luxurious fragrance with it being housed in a premium heavyweight box, it’s soo nice. The packaging, bottle and the fragrance itself works hand in hand to create a fragrance that screams luxury. I’ve even kept the box to store it in just because I can’t think to part with it. For this fragrance, Monsoon worked with Fragrance & Beauty Creations and renowned perfumer Christian Provenzano to create a signature fragrance.

Accessorize Love Lily Review

Today is a little different from what I had originally planned! Today is National Chocolate Cupcake Day meaning this post should have been a recipe for youu but unfortunately, I just haven’t had the time to bake some cakes. Meaning a different post on the agenda, today I am going to share with you Love Lily, a fragrance from Accessorize. When I received the email asking me if I wanted to review Love Lily, I jumped at the opportunity because I adore perfumes!

I only ever thought Accessorize sold bags and jewellery as their name implies, so I was actually quite surprised when I heard about Love Lily but at the same time, it made me quite excited to try the fragrance. Accessorize describes Love Lily on their website as sweet and vibrant, which I definitely agree with! This is very much a Spring/Summer fragrance, this may be the wrong time to have this type of fragrance as it doesn’t reflect this season.
