6 of my current Disney+ picks

While in lockdown I have watched A LOT of films and series on both Netflix and Disney+. Yes, I’ve been working but I need something in the background, also I’ve got more time in the morning and evening. Also, I’m not really doing that much on the weekend! Disney+ was launched whilst in the lockdown and I forgot how many films are Disney, it was like going back to my childhood.

If you don’t know what Disney+ is, it’s a streaming service just like Netflix and Amazon Prime, but it has everything Disney! I have been watching so much, it was definitely time for a new platform, I was starting to run out of things to watch on Netflix. There is so much to watch on Disney+, where do you start!? In the past, I’ve shared my Netflix recommendations, today I thought I would share my current Disney+ picks.

Ways to keep busy during the lockdown

Here in the UK, we have been in lockdown since Monday 23 March. With working in PR and Marketing, I have been able to continue working, Monday to Friday, from home of course. It’s been an interesting one as in the past, it’s only been one or two days maximum. So I haven’t had very much downtime during the week to think, what should I do today?

I know there are a lot of people who unfortunately have been furloughed, Yasmine is one of them so I thought today I would share with you some ways to keep busy during the lockdown. Just remember, we’re all in this together and if you need someone to speak to, I am always here. I’m lucky as I live with family but I know some people are on their own.

Goodbye March! Hello April!

March has been such an odd month… I’m not sure about yours but for me, it’s just been everywhere. I’ve never experienced a month like it, I know you know what I’m talking about. You just need to keep moving and think happy things, that’s one reason why I’ve been able to keep up my blogging game. Current Netflix Top Picks // February 2020

Is there anyone that doesn’t love a good binge-watch session!? Whether that’s a favourite boxset or a brand new series on Netflix, I love just cuddling up on the sofa and watching a new series. Recently Netflix has been killing it with their programmes! Some amazing series have appeared, both old favourites and brand new series. Least with Netflix they upload every episode so you’re able to binge-watch a series. Back in April last year, I shared with you my Current Netflix Top Picks – it’s that time of year to share again.

I’m really excited to share these with you today – hopefully, you’ll come across a couple you’ve been wanting to watch or completely new to you. Winter is the perfect time of year for binge-watching! Grab a blanket, cuddle up on the sofa and watch a movie or even binge-watch one of the many series on Netflix. I’ve watched so much recently! Another reason for sharing my Current Top Picks with you. One minute with Netflix there’s hardly anything, then the next there are so many shows to watch you just don’t have the time!

Enough chit-chat, shall we begin?

Current Netflix Top Picks // April 2019

Netflix has been killing it recently! They have some amazing programmes and movies you should definitely watch. I pretty much watch something day in, day out on Netflix. I have been truly addicted to some, weekends are great as I pretty much watch a whole season in one sitting. Before you realise there are no more episodes and you’re waiting five months for the next season.

The last time I shared my Favourite Netflix Series was back in December 2017! A lot has happened and changed since then, now is a perfect time to share my Current Netflix Top Picks. I’m really excited to share these with you today, please let me know down in the comments if you’ve watched any of these yourself. They’re all pretty different from one another, I love the diversity of programmes.

Moving from Winter to Spring is probably the wrong time of year, it’s great watching Netflix during the colder months. It’s lovely sitting on the sofa, with a blanket, maybe even cuddling up with your loved one and watching a movie on Netflix, or even binge-watching one of their many series. Now it’s starting to warm up, I will be watching less so hopefully nothing much good and exciting comes out!

Self-Care in Spring

Now I know to most people believe we’ve had Spring for a couple of weeks. For me, I believe 20 March 2019 is the first day Spring. We’ve had an interesting start to March, with Storm Freya gracing us with her presence. We’re on Day 6 of the Astronomical Spring, I thought I would continue the theme of Self-Care and looking after yourself this Spring, by sharing a couple of Self-Care ideas.

Last week, I shared with you my face mask collection, a perfect addition to any pamper evening. Spring is the perfect time to reevaluate your routine and add in new products, also there’s something about Spring and the freshness of everything. Animals are being born, flowers are blooming and it’s the perfect time to think about yourself. Spring is a magical time of the year.

I adore Autumn! It’s definitely my favourite season, there are a couple of special moments to celebrate in this season, including the big one my birthday. I have seen a couple of Autumn Tag in the blogosphere and had to complete one myself! I love these as they’re a great way to learn a bit more about someone and they definitely get your brain working.

Normally I am tagged to complete one myself but for this particular one, I came across it on another blog. I fell in love with the questions and just had to participate myself. Autumn is definitely a season that makes me all warm and fuzzy inside, there are so many reasons to love Autumn including autumnal fashion, cooler weather and chill nights in.

Blogger Book Nook #9 // Time Machine

I swear 2018 is going really quick, like can you believe it’s already May. This month is going to be a busy and hopefully fun one, I’m going to be creating some great memories this month with Yasmine. A new month means there’s a new Reading Challenge created by the Blogger Book Nook. This month’s Reading Challenge is a little different and something special.

May is the birthday month for both Tabitha and Abbey, Happy Birthday to the both of you! Meaning they wanted to pick their favourite genre Historical Fiction. Hop in your time machine and pick a read that’s set in the past – whether it’s as early as the 90’s or if you go back thousands of years, the choice is yours! I’m excited to indulge in a book of this genre, as it’s definitely an interesting genre.

We receive our monthly Reading Challenge from either Abbey or Tabitha, two of the kindest girls, on the Facebook page. Here we have some great conversations and are able to talk books! This is also the perfect opportunity to get to know new bloggers, ones that have a similar interest, books and reading.

With the nights getting colder and darker, it feels nice to cosy up on the sofa and watch a movie. I am definitely a massive fan of these nights, it’s nice to wind down and just relax, there’s variety of different ways you can do this! I don’t know about you but Winter just screams nights in. You don’t want to go outside because it’s already pitch black and it’s freezing cold. It’s definitely a must during these colder nights.

I thought I would share with you how I typically spend my Winter night in, what screams comfort to me!
