Here we go, my first blog book tour in what seems like forever! I know I’ve been slacking on these, but recently there has been nothing I wanted to read. Until I came across R&R Book Tours, and the lovely Shannon, the brains behind this. I’ve already signed up for blog book tours over the next couple of month, keep your eyes peeled for those. I cannot wait to share my reviews with you.
I’m excited to be a part of this blog book tour, it’s crazy how much you miss something until it reappears back in your life. Today, I am reviewing Collection of the Negatives by Violet St. Karl, on the fifth and final day of the blog book tour hosted by R&R Book Tours. I am also sharing the blog book tour with Port Jerricho (Review), Eclectic Review (Review) and J Bronder Book Reviews (Review) , please give them some love!
Before we start my review and what I thought, let’s read the book bio for background context.
I hope you’re all having a lovely June! Can you believe it’s already halfway through the month? Now it gets excited as next week I’m going home and then the week after I’m at Silverstone for the Formula 1 British Grand Prix. Here is my first book review and blog book tour of the month. One that I’m actually really excited to be a part of because I’ve fallen in love with this book!
This blog book tour is hosted by Faye Rogers, over at Authoright, I have found some new loves since participating in book tours. Today is no different as I am the third stop on Preceded by Chaos Blog Tour hosted by Faye, I am also sharing the blog book tour with Big Book Little Book and Carry on Beautiful so please check out their blogs to read what they thought.
I’m not a very me, me, me person but I do feel that it’s good to get to know the person behind a blog. Recently, I’ve done a few different posts to introduce myself to you, including Things I Love About Motorsports and Things That Make Me Happy. April is turning into the month of getting to know me, Gemma Bray, the girl behind An Ocean Glimmer and today is no different!
At the beginning of this month, I came across An A-Z of Me from Zoe Jackson over at Just Zoe. I fell in love with this post as I found it interesting to pick just one thing that related to each of the 26 letters of the alphabet. Now, it seems like a semi-easy thing to do but I’ve got this feeling that when I actually get stuck in, it won’t be that easy… Like right now, I can’t think of anything for the last couple of letters.
Shall we get started with An A-Z of Me? Continue reading “An A-Z of An Ocean Glimmer!”

There’s nothing to lose but you could gain a lot, recently I entered a giveaway hosted by bbloggers to win the Joyous Vibes Holiday Kit from MIYU Beauty.
I was so excited to get my hands on this kit as I’ve heard good things about MIYU Beauty and with us heading into a New Year, you deserve a pamper evening. Before going into my thoughts on the Holiday Kit, I thought I would let you know a little about MIYU Beauty, as before this giveaway, I didn’t know much about them.
I thought I would do quite a fun post today and let you know some of my favourite bloggers! Since becoming a blogger myself, I have come across a lot of bloggers, Twitter is a massive help for this, I’m always finding a new blog. I am always on the lookout for new beauty products so when Faith in Nature contacted me and asked if I wanted to review some of their products, I jumped at the chance! Let me tell you a little bit about the company, Faith in Nature began over 40 years ago in Scotland when founder Rivka Rose moved from New York City. Her vision was to create an affordable beauty and skin care range for everyone to use from natural, vegetable sources which were animal-cruelty free and environmentally friendly.
Faith in Nature is now an award-winning brand that produces over 200 products including hair care, skin care, baby care and natural home care. It was a very tricky decision to chose the products I wanted to try. There’s a big range of different fragrances, including Aloe Vera, Chocolate, Coconut, Lavender, Pomegranate and the one I chose Watermelon! You can decide to either have a 400ml or 740ml in selected fragrances which is perfect if you adore the scent, it will last you that little bit longer.
