April 2018 – World Stationery Day

What’s better than loving stationery,
then having a whole week dedicated to stationery!

That’s correct, I’m talking about National Stationery Week, which started on Monday. It’s pretty simple really, it’s a whole week celebrating all things stationery, there’s something extra special today though. It’s World Stationery Day! Let’s celebrate the written word. Its aim is to get people all over the world talking and writing about stationery, and why writing by hand is important.

If you know me well, you’ll know that I am completely addicted to stationery. There are many different ways to get involved if you’re a stationery addict, I’ve taken the opportunity to grab a few things from Old English Company, a company who specializes in homeware and stationery, with beautiful hand-lettered quotes. When they reached out to me about a potential collaboration, I jumped at the opportunity!

I Can Do This Blog Planner by Dot Creates

It was around this time last year, that I introduced you to Dot Creates, I was on the search for a planner to help me to be organised as a blogger. I wanted everything to be in one place for me, to be able to plan out the variety of content but also have a diary so I know what’s happening when. I purchased the Ultimate Blog Planner and after falling in love with the planner, I decided to purchase another one.

For 2018 though, it’s been a little different, Danielle Timcke, the amazing owner and creator of Dot Creates wanted our help. She enlisted the help of bloggers to create a fresh Blog Planner that featured things that we wanted. There was a couple of different surveys that she planned to understand what we wanted to include inside and how we wanted it to be designed.

There was a lot of forward and backwards, but I was very happy to the see the final results, which I couldn’t not purchase once she released it!

Blogmas Day 9 // Creoly Th[ink] Dot Grid Notebook

Good evening one and all! I really hope you’re having a great December, it’s definitely starting to get a lot colder, I seem to be wrapping up in more layers each day I go out. For today’s Blogmas post, I am sharing with you the Th[ink] Dot Grid Notebook from Creoly. This is my second collaboration with Creoly, after becoming a part of their “Early Bird” Review Club.

My first collaboration I was lucky enough to review their Black Marble Pen Duo, so it’s nice to have something different on this occasion and review a notebook. Now, this notebook is no means fancy but it’s enough to personalise. I’ve been wanting to create my own Bullet Journal for a while now but I’ve never really thought if I would benefit from one.

Back to School // Stationery Haul

If you know me, you’ll know how much I love stationery, I am massively addicted to all things stationery. With Back to School just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to pick up some new bits, as everywhere has a good collection of stationery products. I can not go anywhere without picking up a new notebook, I’ve got more notebooks than I can count on my hands!

They definitely have all their uses, I am always writing down notes and information, so notebooks come in handy. As well as other stationery items, with me no longer being in education, I can pick up new stationery products anytime of the year! It used to be my favourite thing, picking up new stationery products for the new school term. With running a blog, stationery definitely comes in handy.

I love using notebooks for blog photos, as well as using them to write down any new ideas for posts. Now I’ve moved to Aylesbury, I no longer have a Paperchase that I can just wander around while in town, mine is now over 40minutes away… So I’ve had to get used to going into other stationery shops to pick up my stationery. I think this has definitely saved me some money though!
