Monthly Favourites // September 2018

Can you believe it’s October? Seriously where on earth is 2018 going, it’s officially Autumn, Halloween is just around the corner, it’s nearly my birthday and before you know it, Christmas is here. I hope you’re all having a great start to the month, October is one of my favourite months and I’m super excited for the upcoming month.

Before we go full steam ahead for October, let’s first review September. September was a great month, it’s definitely starting to slow down in the activities I am doing, it was quite hard to come up with a lengthy Favourites post like recent posts. I am really enjoying sharing my Favourites with you.

September 2017 – Video Games Day

One side of me that I don’t write too much about on An Ocean Glimmer, is my Geeky/Nerd side. I am a massive lover of all things Marvel and DC Comics, as well as playing video games! This is where today comes in, I thought it was very fitting to celebrate Video Games Day, who even knew this was a thing. I definitely did not until I came across it.

For long as I can remember, I’ve had some form of gaming controller in my hand, be it a PlayStation or even Xbox. Who remembers the Dreamcast? My all-time favourite console that I feel was definitely before its time! I’ve been very fortunate to grow up with a console, with my uncle a gamer as well, I’ve picked up a lot from him. I always used to play Halo and Dead or Alive with him!

The Geeky Girl Tag

As you’ll know, along with being a Beauty and Lifestyle Blogger, there is another side to me, I am a massive Geek at heart! I love everything from Vampire Diaries to Harry Potter and many great games. Recently I came across a tag on ZombieGoddess Beauty called The Geeky Girl Tag, I was in love with it and knew I needed to do it for myself, especially as I don’t normally speak about my geek side.
