Big Bundle of Stationery

What’s not to love about stationery? It can be anything you want it to be – colourful, character or simple. My name is Gemma and I am a MASSIVE stationery lover! There are so many items that I’ll be here all day long sharing them all, so instead, I’ve decided to shout out to all the small businesses included. Now, where shall I start?

Introduction: Mål Paper*

[AD GIFTED]

I did mention I wanted to share more stationery orientated posts on An Ocean Glimmer and I’m doing just that! I am always so proud of my blog, even more so when companies reach out to me and that’s the reason behind today’s post. It’s an introduction post to Mål Paper, a stationery company that produces stylish and simplistic stationery that helps to be more productive by focusing our minds on the most important tasks.

Their range of products is the result of seeking a solution to solve the common problem of jumping from one task to the next, without prioritising them or even completing the previous task. They were tired of having countless ‘to-do’ lists on notepads, notebooks and journals that did nothing more than complicate goals and tasks further, to the point of feeling overwhelmed and uninspired to hold themselves accountable.

Back to School with Poundland

I adore this time of year, it’s always been my favourite, not because it’s getting colder thanks to Autumn just around the corner but Back to School! I left school in 2011 but each year I still get excited to see what’s about because I’m a massive stationery addict. My all time favourite stationery brand is Pukka Pad and two years ago, I reviewed a small selection of their products.

Pukka Pad can be an expensive brand, I seem to always purchase them when they’re on offer. I understand not everyone can afford brands like Pukka Pad, for Back to School this year I wanted to share brands that are good and colourful but at reasonable prices. That’s why when I came across a stationery range from Poundland, I knew this would be perfect to share with you.

April 2018 – World Stationery Day

What’s better than loving stationery,
then having a whole week dedicated to stationery!

That’s correct, I’m talking about National Stationery Week, which started on Monday. It’s pretty simple really, it’s a whole week celebrating all things stationery, there’s something extra special today though. It’s World Stationery Day! Let’s celebrate the written word. Its aim is to get people all over the world talking and writing about stationery, and why writing by hand is important.

If you know me well, you’ll know that I am completely addicted to stationery. There are many different ways to get involved if you’re a stationery addict, I’ve taken the opportunity to grab a few things from Old English Company, a company who specializes in homeware and stationery, with beautiful hand-lettered quotes. When they reached out to me about a potential collaboration, I jumped at the opportunity!

I Can Do This Blog Planner by Dot Creates

It was around this time last year, that I introduced you to Dot Creates, I was on the search for a planner to help me to be organised as a blogger. I wanted everything to be in one place for me, to be able to plan out the variety of content but also have a diary so I know what’s happening when. I purchased the Ultimate Blog Planner and after falling in love with the planner, I decided to purchase another one.

For 2018 though, it’s been a little different, Danielle Timcke, the amazing owner and creator of Dot Creates wanted our help. She enlisted the help of bloggers to create a fresh Blog Planner that featured things that we wanted. There was a couple of different surveys that she planned to understand what we wanted to include inside and how we wanted it to be designed.

There was a lot of forward and backwards, but I was very happy to the see the final results, which I couldn’t not purchase once she released it!

If you know me well, you will know just how much of a fan I am of stationery! I always seem to be picking up new items, I just can not help myself. So when Creoly asked me if I wanted to collaborate with them, I jumped at the opportunity. I am now a part of their “Early Bird” Review Club, I will be receiving some of their favourite products to review here on An Ocean Glimmer. I am very excited about this collaboration and I can not wait to see where we go together.

Before we go into my first product I received, let me tell you a little bit about the company. Creoly are a small team of stationery addicts who work to source and offer a range of stationery for both personal and business customers. They offer a range of products from Notebooks & Journals to Pens & Pencils. As well as the smaller items like Paper Clips, Binder Clips and Sticky Notes. They sell their own branded items and big names like Filofax, Leuchtturm1917 & Moleskine.

Back to School // Stationery Haul

If you know me, you’ll know how much I love stationery, I am massively addicted to all things stationery. With Back to School just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to pick up some new bits, as everywhere has a good collection of stationery products. I can not go anywhere without picking up a new notebook, I’ve got more notebooks than I can count on my hands!

They definitely have all their uses, I am always writing down notes and information, so notebooks come in handy. As well as other stationery items, with me no longer being in education, I can pick up new stationery products anytime of the year! It used to be my favourite thing, picking up new stationery products for the new school term. With running a blog, stationery definitely comes in handy.

I love using notebooks for blog photos, as well as using them to write down any new ideas for posts. Now I’ve moved to Aylesbury, I no longer have a Paperchase that I can just wander around while in town, mine is now over 40minutes away… So I’ve had to get used to going into other stationery shops to pick up my stationery. I think this has definitely saved me some money though!
