Blogger Book Nook #9 // Time Machine

I swear 2018 is going really quick, like can you believe it’s already May. This month is going to be a busy and hopefully fun one, I’m going to be creating some great memories this month with Yasmine. A new month means there’s a new Reading Challenge created by the Blogger Book Nook. This month’s Reading Challenge is a little different and something special.

May is the birthday month for both Tabitha and Abbey, Happy Birthday to the both of you! Meaning they wanted to pick their favourite genre Historical Fiction. Hop in your time machine and pick a read that’s set in the past – whether it’s as early as the 90’s or if you go back thousands of years, the choice is yours! I’m excited to indulge in a book of this genre, as it’s definitely an interesting genre.

We receive our monthly Reading Challenge from either Abbey or Tabitha, two of the kindest girls, on the Facebook page. Here we have some great conversations and are able to talk books! This is also the perfect opportunity to get to know new bloggers, ones that have a similar interest, books and reading.

This month’s Reading Challenge is a little different and took a while to find a book that could relate to Murder in the Library. Meaning April is all about entering the twisting, turning tunnels of Crime and Thriller Fiction, asking the question WHO DUNNIT?!

Blogger Book Nook #5 // Judging a Book by its Cover

Here we go, another month means it’s time for January’s Reading Challenge for the Blogger Book Nook. I’ve really enjoyed being a part of this reading community as it’s really pushed me to read each month! Before I wanted to read but I just haven’t had the time, with this community though they are all supportive and it’s a great motivation to read.

This month’s Reading Challenge is Judging a Book by its Cover. Challenging us to pick up a new book purely based on the cover. We receive our monthly Reading Challenge from either Abbey or Tabitha, two of the kindest girls, on the Facebook page. Here we have some great conversations and are able to talk books! Blogmas Day 17 // Blogger Book Nook #4 Festive Reads

It doesn’t feel that long ago that I was introducing you to November’s Reading Challenge, it’s now time to look ahead to December. This month’s Reading Challenge is Festive Reads! This is a very fitting reading prompt with Christmas just around the corner, if I’m honest I don’t think I’ve read that many festive related books. It’s one genre that I’m too keen on if I’m honest.

It’s great to be apart of this community and it’s great chatting with everyone on the Facebook page. Here we have some great conversations and are able to talk books! Right, let’s get on with December’s Reading Challenge.

Blogger Book Nook #3 Young Adult

Here we are again! Today I am going to introduce to you November’s Reading Challenge, this month the Blogger Book Nook has been talking about all things Young Adult. This is definitely my favourite reading prompt so far with the Blogger Book Nook, as even though I’m no longer ‘classed’ as a young adult, I still have a long list of books to read in this genre.

Alongside answering the five questions each month, we also chat with one another on the Facebook page. Here we discuss the prompt during the month, including what we’ve been reading and our favourite authors. I love when Abbey adds a Question of the Day to the group because it definitely gets me thinking! It’s also nice to see if we like similar things.

Blogger Book Nook #2 Spooktacular

I am really excited to share with you today’s post! Remember that little Blogger Book Nook I introduced you to earlier this month? Well, that was September’s Reading Challenge so you are lucky this month as there will be two posts as today I am introducing you to October’s Reading Challenge! I am really enjoying being a part of this community, everyone is really friendly and I’ve been getting along with them all very well. There is always fresh content on their Facebook page.

Be it content from other bloggers, questions of the day and just general chit chat! I am very excited by this month’s Reading Challenge as it fits in very nicely with what is happening at the end of the month! Yup, that’s right, I am speaking about Halloween, meaning a Spooktacular theme for October. Now I adore Halloween, don’t get me wrong, but I am not the biggest fan of scary movies. I think the scariest I’ve watched is stuff like The Walking Dead! I could never watch It, The Shining or even Saw.

An Introduction To: Blogger Book Nook

I have some very exciting news to share with you, I am now apart of a community called Blogger Book Nook! I thought I would introduce you to this community today as I’ve fallen in love with it and there are some great bloggers involved. Growing up reading was something I always struggled with, my English skills were very poor. Until one of my teachers actually helped me and recommended some authors to improve my reading skills.

This is where my love for Jacqueline Wilson started and I still enjoy reading her books. Now I am pretty much addicted to reading! Whether it be DC Comics or Marvel and supernatural thrillers, I love to be sucked into a different universe. Recently though I’ve had to stop reading as much as I used to, thanks to the time I didn’t have during university. With me finishing my third year in May, I’ve now had a lot more time to actually read, as you know from my monthly book reviews with Neverland Blog Tours.

Now enough chit chat, shall we get started?
