If you live in the UK, you’ll know how hot it has been recently, with temperatures hitting higher than 30°C as a sizzling heatwave grips the country. We all love soaking up the sun, whether that’s in the UK or abroad but unfortunately, it doesn’t come without its consequences. Skin Cancer, caused by exposure to the sun, this may be long-term exposure or short periods of intense sun exposure and burning.

With the heatwave showing no sign of easing up, Skin Cancer charities are deeply concerned about the lasting impact that overdoing it in the sun will have on our health. Altruist Dermatologist Sunscreen and Melanoma Focus, are hitting back with a new series of ‘scars and all’ content shorts to tell the human stories behind three common skin cancer cases.

Blogmas Day 16 // 6 Ways to Have a Productive Day

I don’t know about you but I’m definitely feeling less productive during the Winter, it’s cold, dark and horrible. You have that feeling of, it’s so warm under this duvet, I want to stay here. I am definitely starting to feel it but I’ve still got so much to do! My workload has been increasing every day and I need to have productive days to actually complete the work.

Today I thought I would share a couple of ways to stay productive this Winter. Now some of these I take on board myself, others not so much.

Gracie Saunderson Bags Review

Recently I came across Gracie Saunderson on Twitter, she was on the search for bloggers to review her handmade makeup bags. Now I’ve reviewed a lot of blogger businesses on my blog, including The Birdhouse Calligraphy and Juniper Daze Designs, so I jumped at the chance to collaborate with Gracie. I love reviewing these businesses as I feel they don’t get enough credit as they should! They are just as amazing as big brands that we all know, so why not share the love.

Before we get to my review of the Azure makeup bag from Gracie, I thought I would speak a little bit about her. Gracie has always had a passion for makeup and beauty, in 2014 she went on a course to become a professional makeup artist. She is now qualified in Manicures, Pedicures, CND Nails and Eyebrow Tinting. It was in 2015 where she started her own business creating handmade makeup bags after she felt there was a gap in the market for practical yet pretty and affordable makeup bags.

Favourite YouTubers

YouTube has become a part of my daily life, be it watching unboxing videos of some awesome subscription boxes or walkthroughs of the latest games, there is a YouTube video out there for all of us. They allow us to pass the time and get away from our normal lives, some even say they become a part of your daily life, I know it sure does for myself!

I thought I would share with you today some of my favourite YouTubers, of course why I love them and pick a favourite video from the past couple of days. That will probably be where it becomes a little tricky! I managed to reel myself in and only choose four YouTubers if you look at my subscribers list this is a good achievement.

Bedtime Beauty Routine

There is that one thing that we all need that makes us less miserable! That would be sleep, I know if I don’t have a good nights sleep, you don’t want to mess with me in the morning. For me, I do find it hard to get to sleep, so there are a couple of things I do to help me wind down and relax for the evening.

At the moment I am pretty stressed with the move, so I thought now would be a great opportunity to share with you my Bedtime Beauty Routine! The easiest way I felt to share with you my routine, would be to go through step by step my evening. Let’s begin with;

As you’ll know, along with being a Beauty and Lifestyle Blogger, there is another side to me, I am a massive Geek at heart! I love everything from Vampire Diaries to Harry Potter and many great games.
