This Time Next Year Tag 2019

I can’t believe it’s been a whole year since I posted the This Time Next Year Tag 2018 on An Ocean Glimmer. What is the This Time Next Year Tag I hear you say? Well, it’s a tag created by Sarah Lemmon, aka Little Reader, it’s basically inspired by a British TV Show where you see people present their goals for next year. Then it flashes forward 365 days later to see if they have achieved them.

This is how the tag will work:

  • Thank the person who tagged you
  • Write your goals for next year
  • Write how you’re going to achieve your goals
  • Tag at least 5 of your blogger friends to share their goals
  • Then if you wish in 365 days write a post for everyone to see if you have been successful or not!

I love recapping on Goals I have either set myself the month before or even year. I will be sharing soon my Personal and Blogging Goals that I would love to achieve over the course of 2019. I feel This Time Next Year Tag is perfect for summing up my top Goals I would love to achieve, I feel good about 2019. I swear the past year has gone so quick and I do feel I haven’t achieved as much as I could have.

2018 Recap

This Time Next Year I will have reached 5k followers on Twitter ❌

Unfortunately, I was not able to reach 5k followers on Twitter, I pushed myself each month but it just wasn’t enough. I’m currently on 3,853 which is just over thousand more than last year.

This Time Next Year I will have reached 500 followers on my blog ❌

So close, yet so far. I’ve not pushed my blog following as much as Twitter and Instagram. I’m currently 40 away, which is a good jump from where I was this time last year though.

This Time Next Year I will have moved into my own house ❌

Unfortunately, we’ve had a couple of hiccups the past couple of months, meaning we have needed the money saved up. We’re not in our own home, just yet. We have opened a Help to Buy ISA each and I’m really positive about it this year.

This Time Next Year I will have improved my fitness ✔️

I feel better about myself, I would say yes, I have improved my fitness. This is a great thing to say as I have struggled recently, but there’s still more to do. I’m going to push myself.

This Time Next Year I will have improved my photography ✔️

I feel like I’ve improved my photography a good amount in the past year! Of course, there’s always room for improvement. I’m definitely going to continue pushing myself.

2019 Goals

This Time Next Year I will have moved into my own house

I swear this is one is always on my Goals but I have everything crossed that 2019 will be the year. Now we have opened an ISA for the mortgage fund, I’m really hopeful.

This Time Next Year I will have brought a new car

This June, I would be the proud owner of my MG ZR for four years. Unfortunately, with her being 16 years old, she’s costing me a lot of money. Now I’m thinking of purchasing a brand new car, I’ve got a test drive booked for a couple of days time. I am very excited!

This Time Next Year I will have received a promotion at work

I’ve been with 4CM for just over a year now, the workload is going up and I’m being trusted with a lot more. I have everything crossed that this year is the one and I receive a promotion. I’m definitely going to push myself this whole year.

This Time Next Year I will have reached 5k followers on Twitter

Over the past couple of months, I have really pushed myself for more following. I would love to hit 5k followers on Twitter this year. I’m more than positive I can do this, hopefully, by the middle of this year, I would have reached at least 4,000 followers.

This Time Next Year I will have reached 20k views on An Ocean Glimmer

I feel really good things about 2019 and An Ocean Glimmer, I achieved some amazing things last year so would love to continue this. I am hopeful to reach 20k views on An Ocean Glimmer, that’s not a lot, right? I’m currently on 16,672 and I reached nearly 7k in the whole of 2018.

This Time Next Year I will have improved my fitness

I need to push myself in 2019 to not only feel better about myself but also look better. This will happen by improving my fitness and eating healthy. I’ve incorporated more walking and better meals, I’ve even not eaten chocolate since early last week…

I hope you have enjoyed this review! What is your one Goal for 2019?

  1. I love this idea – it’s always nice to look back on your year and reflect the highs and the lows.
Good luck with all your goals! I hope you’re able to achieve them all this year.
I only have two goals for 2019 – one blogging related and one personal. In terms of blogging, it’s to be more consistent. My personal goal is to focus on my happiness.
    Great post!
