I don’t know about you, but February has definitely not been as long as January felt, I know there’s only 28 days compared to the 31 for January but man, it lasted forever! Of course, with it now being March, it is time for my February Favourites. I’m really excited to share with you my favourites, this month has definitely been a lot more active than January was.
Missed my January Favourites? Head over here to see what I was loving
during the month.
Now I’m no longer struggling with money like I was in January, I was able to do a lot more, not everything that I would have liked to though. The weather is definitely brightening up and we’re getting more light in a day, meaning days are lasting longer. I can’t wait for it to start warming up, this means I’ll be able to spend more time outside, rather than being cooped up.
Shall we get started with my February Favourites?
Bomb Cosmetics – I have been meaning to purchase bath bombs from Bomb Cosmetics for a little while now, I finally did this month and they were my best investment of the month. I purchased the Palm Springs Gift Pack for Yasmine but it turned into us sharing the products. You can find out more about what I thought about this Gift Pack here.
Anti-Imperfection Night Mask – I’ve really struggled with my acne this month! To tell you the truth, I have been since moving to Aylesbury. I swear the air is a lot harsher compared to Plymouth, to try and calm down my skin, I’ve been using the Anti-Imperfection Night Mask from The Body Shop! I’ve fallen in love with this and use it each night, I swear I can actually feel it working on my face.
Let me know in the comments if you want me to
do a full review of this Night Mask!
Eyewake – I’ve never been one to tackle my tired looking eyes but after coming across Eyewake this month, I’ve added it to my daily routine! It’s such a simple product and I have definitely noticed a couple of changes. Even if I don’t get enough sleep, this product gives me the little boost I require, check out my review of Eyewake here.
Yasmine’s Birthday – At the beginning of February, it was Yasmine’s birthday, yes I am a total of two months older than her. Whenever we speak about age, she always tells me how much older I am to her. It was a nice, relaxing day, we didn’t do anything massively special, we had a nice Chinese together and snuggled up watching movies. What more could you ask for?
Meeting Samantha – I finally had the opportunity to meet Samantha this month! Aka my bestest blogger friend over at Always Believe in a Miracle, we’ve been speaking for a little while now but never had the opportunity to meet. With me living in Plymouth and her in Birmingham, it made it hard but now I am only about an hour and a half from her! We had such a lovely time in Birmingham together.
It’s also been a little while since I visited, so it was nice to see what changed. It wasn’t until the drive home that I realised how much we had walked, it was nice visiting all the different shops, my favourites like Paperchase and Tiger but also new shops like Selfridges and Victoria Secrets. Also, one place that I’ve been missing since leaving Plymouth, Boston Tea Party.
Buckinghamshire Railway Station – Yasmine has always been a massive train enthusiast, ever since I met her we’ve always gone to a train station. To celebrate her birthday, we decided to go to the Buckinghamshire Railway Station for one of their Steaming Day, you have the opportunity to travel on a steam train. It was such a lovely place, there’s so much to do both for kids and adults.
There’s a lot of walking, but at every point, there’s something new to see and do, for someone that doesn’t have much of an interest in trains, even I enjoyed myself. Unfortunately, it was a very cold day, even though it was blue skies, this would be the perfect place to go when it’s a little warmer. I don’t think we will be going again anytime soon unless they’ve got a special event going on.
Valentine’s Day – Normally myself and Yasmine don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day, the reason because she’s always treated me pretty much every day of the year! We don’t wait to celebrate our love or give one another gift, but this year was a little different. Yasmine surprised me with an adorable card and a Tatty Teddy Bear! The card probably made me chuckle a little more than I should.
This is the first time in a little while that she’s brought me a card for a special occasion, when she told me about it I was a little worried! She always seems to let the cat out of the bag before the day, so it gets me thinking. The Tatty Teddy Bear was definitely a surprise, a good one at that, as always she knows how to win my heart!

Las Iguanas – This month I went to Las Iguanas for the very first time and let me just tell you how much I fell in love! This was also my very first works do since joining 4CM, it’s not a regular occurrence for the team only to mark something special. This time around it was a goodbye meal as three people recently left the company. As I’ve never been to Las Iguanas I took forever to choose a meal.
In the end, I went with Cheese Dough Balls for starter and Enchilada for main, these were both amazing! It was also my first time trying Enchilada, I definitely made a good decision. The portion sizes were brilliant, definitely made them worth the semi-expensive price tag. It was also nice to chill for an evening and get to know everyone a little better, seeing as I’ve only been with them since October.
I hope you have enjoyed this Favourites post! I never actually realise how much I’ve done and enjoyed in a month until I speak about it here. February has definitely been a good month, March is looking to be a good month as well, with celebrating my sister’s birthday and Mother’s Day.
What’s been your favourite thing you’ve done in February?
